Check out....Isabella's word problem

Isabella wrote a word problem for you to solve.
You need to explain and justify your thinking to "prove" your answer.


Isabella has 14 lollies and Taite has 24 lollies. 
How many do they have altogether?

    so i took the ones=8

  2. Owen Ford he worked out with his mum and dad that 4 sticks + 4 sticks =8 1+2 = 3 so he put both together and got =38

  6. on the abacus i made 10 and 4 and then to 10s and 4 i put the 10s to gether and i had 30 then i put the ones together then i got 8 and it was 38
